The Werklund School of Education Endowment is funded through donations made by alumni and friends of the School. The Werklund School of Education values and wishes to support aspiring scholars who desire to pursue an academic career.

Eligibility Open to students registered full-time in a doctoral program in the Werklund School of Education who have not yet completed candidacy examinations.

Selection will be based on the quality of the applicant’s graduate work: career achievements; publications; evidence of scholarly achievements; a review of his or her graduate application portfolio; and the applicant’s demonstrated potential to establish a career as a faculty member in a university.

Apply Students interested in the award should consult the Werklund School of Education. Applicants are required to complete the Graduate Scholarship Application Form.

A recommendation will be forwarded to the Graduate Scholarship Office. The recommendation is subject to final approval of the Graduate Scholarship Committee.
