Gordon Lewis Hedberg Doctoral Scholarship
Gordon Hedberg graduated as an electrical engineer in 1972. He became a proud alumnus and supporter of the University of Calgary. Mr. Hedberg was a tenacious scholar, completing his degree through full- and part-time study. His deep commitment to the field of engineering continues to be an inspiration to family, friends, and colleagues.

Duration Awarded for a three-year term. Offered every third year, provided a suitable candidate is available.
Eligibility Open students registered full-time in the doctoral program in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Candidates must hold a master’s degree. Preference will be given to students who are returning to university after being employed full-time in the electrical and computer engineering industry.

This award cannot be held in addition to funding from a major award. Adjudication of the award will be based on academic and scholarly achievement.
