Bernice Gibb Memorial Graduate Scholarship in Language and Literacy Education
Bernice Gibb taught herself to read at the age of five while confined to bed by a lengthy illness. A voracious reader for the rest of her life, she became a teacher-librarian and devoted herself to furthering student enthusiasm for prose and poetry. This scholarship honours Bernice and her commitment to increasing interest in reading and/or literature.
