Eyes High Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship
The University of Calgary’s Eyes High goal envisions the institution as one of Canada’s leading research universities and a global intellectual hub. This scholarship recognizes the importance of doctoral students to the achievement of the Eyes High objectives.

Eligibility Open to students registered full-time in a doctoral program in the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Students funded through the Eyes High Recruitment Scholarship are required to apply for all provincial, national or international scholarships to which they are eligible. Students who win external awards will have their Eyes High award adjusted as follows:

• Students winning one or more external awards totaling $8,000 or less will hold the full Eyes High award.
• Students winning one or more external awards totaling $8,001 or more will have the Eyes High adjusted for a combined total of $34,000 for Canadian or permanent residents; $38,000 for international.
• Canadian or permanent residents winning one or more external awards that total equal to, or greater than, $34,000 will receive an $8,000 Eyes High top-up; international students winning one or more awards that total equal to, or greater than, $38,000 will receive an $8,000 Eyes High top-up.

Students funded through the Eyes High Recruitment Scholarship are not eligible to hold University of Calgary scholarships.

Students whose citizenship status changes from international to permanent resident during the tenure of the award will have the award value reduced to the Canadian citizen or permanent resident value.
