| Eligibility |
Open to students registered full-time in a thesis-based graduate degree program in the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Open to master’s students who have completed no more than 13 months of full-time study in their master’s program at the time the award is paid.
Open to doctoral students who have completed no more than 25 months of full-time study in their doctoral program at the time the award is paid.
To be eligible the student is either authorized to study in Canada at an Alberta post-secondary institution under a study permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada or who has registered to study at an Alberta post-secondary institution and who has applied for a study permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
Students can hold only one AGES in a given award year.
