Open to students registered full-time in a thesis-based graduate degree program in the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Students must be living in Alberta.
Open to master’s students who have completed no more than 13 months of full-time study in their master’s program at the time the award is paid.
Open to doctoral students who have completed no more than 25 months of full-time study in their doctoral program at the time the award is paid.
Open to students transferring from a master’s program to a doctoral program who have completed no more than 25 months of full-time study in their graduate program at the time the award is paid. Time in program will be determined by the start of the master’s program.
Students can hold only one AGES in a given award year.
